The mountain anemone (anemone occidentalis) grows in high meadows in the Canadian and American Rocky Mountains. In August the flowering plant goes to seed in the form of a pom pom. As wind, rain and sun force its eventual decay the seed head takes on wild forms until all of the feathers drop. These are great to photograph as the are like snowflakes, each individual and unique.
Medium and small prints are printed on Moab Entrada Rag Paper and protected with Moab Desert Varnish Spray. This award-winning 100% cotton smooth fine art paper helps bring photographic vision to print through superb ink handling and sharpness. Entrada is an archival acid- and lignin-free paper with an expanded color gamut, natural contrast and high ink load. Large prints are printed on large format archival paper.
Each print is signed and numbered. In a white space below the photo I also include my logo and the title of the photograph low enough for a matt to cover it up.
